THE PAST IS OVER!

SCRIPTURE REFERENCE

“Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old.

Behold, I will do a new thing…”

Isaiah 43:18-19 NKJV

CONTENT

One of the reasons a lot of people find it difficult to live a life of worship is that they refuse to see the new things that God is doing in their lives. If only you can think deep, you would realize that there are better things in store for you. In fact, the Bible made it clear that it hasn’t even entered into the heart of man what He has prepared for those who love him.

One significant thing you must consider to experience a new thing in your life is to FORGET THE PAST! The fact that yesterday was rough and tough doesn’t mean that today is going to be the same. Wake up to a new day with confidence believing that it’s only going to get better. You cannot have a better yesterday because the path of a righteous man is as a shining light that shines MORE AND MORE unto the perfect day. Proverbs 4:18

In the book of Genesis, during creation, everyday, there was something to create. God wasn’t just staying put with one thing and celebrating it like that is all to Him, He kept on moving. If there is anything you wish to do with your past, let it be that you’re learning something from the mistakes you have made but never let them bring you down!

Forget the past, ignore the pains of yesterday, and believe God for today. Stay hopeful, God is set to do a new thing!

ACT

Whatever God has in plan for you, the only way you can receive those things is by faith. From today, instead of dwelling on the past, start expecting something new in your life irrespective of the present situation.

Nail down

You might not be able to correct the past but you can shape your future. Stay positive in God, the past is gone, FOCUS ON THE NEW!
