LEAP OVER WALLS!
“With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall.”
Psalm 18:29 (NIV)
There are several things that could stand as a wall in the lives of believers.
Wall could mean different things. For
instance, a wall could be;
1. Easily besetting sin. There was something that kept robbing me of God’s peace all through my Christian journey. It was a weakness. It would sometimes make me feel
unacceptable by God. So, I accepted the fact
that I needed help, I prayed over it and I took deliberate actions to stop it. I decree today
that whatever it is that is stopping you from approaching the throne of grace is removed today in Jesus name!
2. Past hurts – Some people have been so hurt in the past that they find it very difficult to forgive the person that hurt them. This could
also be a barrier to God’s blessing in your life.
The Bible made it clear that before you even bring any gift to God, you should first reconcile
with your brother/sister who has hurt you.
The worst is that the person you’re annoyed at might not even know. So, you are the only one
carrying the hurt around. Instead of
continuously hating on the person, trust the blood of Jesus to wash away every offence in your heart and that God would give you the grace to forgive the person. It is my prayer
that everything you need to forgive everyone who has in one way or the other hurt you in that past will be given to you in Jesus’ name.
It is God’s will for you to leap over walls.
Today, choose to face every wall in your lives
Ldeliberately with prayers and thanksgiving to
God bless you!
What are the sins that easily beset you, talk to
God concerning them now. Have you been
hurt in the past? Resolve in your heart today
to let go of the hurts.
There are two things you can do to a
wall. If you cannot break them,
develop enough capacity to leap over
them. Whichever one you choose,
don’t allow any wall to stop you
